Why you should do a MBA

Ever since I have thought about doing MBA, one question that keeps on lingering my mind is "Why do I need a MBA ?"
Everyone who has done MBA, advises to work in industry for few years and then opt for MBA.
Reason; you learn the corporate culture, & more over you learn to answer your own question "Why, do I need a MBA?"
Well to be honest even after being in industry for more than 5yrs I still fail to answer this simple question. This is when I came across this nice blog by Mr Brendon Wilson.

The blog is not only simple, but also gives a good view point on what you should expect once you complete a MBA. It puts forward an important point about good B-Schools and that is not, reputation to get you good placements but rather quality interaction with quality peers and good network of alumni in good positions.

This analysis also brings forward another point -- " You could make it big with good MBA from a decent college"
Another thing that this blog does is it answers my question partly "MBA is just a facilitator or catalyst for your future goals"

Well it's Time to move on...
